I did this for Jordin's class. I am quite happy with the result because it is done in a mixed media of acrylic, gouache, colored pencil and ink which I have never used on wood/skateboard or much at all for that matter. I'm also stoked that I started and finished it this afternoon even with experimenting! SWEET!...more paintings on wood to come! (CLICK TO ENLARGE)

Jordin Isip

I'm taking Jordin Isip's class as one of my senior projects. He requires one piece per week, mostly editorial. Which will be good for me because I need to work on my time management & commercial designs. The assignment was to illustrate 'anxiety' by only using a bust (head, shoulders, chest). CURRENT EXHIBITIONS

I want to thank everyone who came out to my opening at Ad Hoc, it was a huge success! Theres a great review at www.bushwickbk.com/archives/845. Heres some pics for those who didn't make it. However the show is up until February 15th so check it out if you can there is plenty of great upcoming artists to see.

Also, one of my pencil drawings has been selected to be on display at the Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn. I believe it is currently up and will be on display from now until at least summertime. So go see it please, plus it's a good excuse to see some furry creatures! ;D

Brooke-Lynn; Magical Wasteland

I got Invited to be in a group show! It's at the gallery I work at... BUT I've been waiting a year to have the chance to have an exhibition there. This project was for a design competition called europebydesigners.com, the objective was "What does Europe mean to you?"
I lived and travelled Europe for 18 months mainly England before I came to Pratt so I have had some experiences there, this is what i came up with.
