"Moses was high"

High on Mount Sinai, Moses was on phychedelic drugs when he heard god deliver the 10 commandments. Benny Shanon, professor of Cognitive Phychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, claimed in Time & Mind Journal of Philosophy. He said the phychedelic effects of ayahuasca were comparable to those produced by concoctions based on bark of the acacia tree, that is frequently mentioned in the Bible.

Eye Scream!

Bad pics...but its late in the am & I have to be up for work in a few hours so they'll have to do for now. This took forever mainly because I didn't work on it at all over break, but its finaly done!!! Its part of the "Brooklyn Wasteland" series, trying to play with/limit color. Im happy overall, dont know about the cast shadow though. TO GET A CLOSER LOOK TAP ON PICS.

So I hate the colors that I originally used for this piece but I really like the drawing. I'm thinking of giving it a more of a mature/classic feel in black & white and making large prints on nice heavy paper. What do you think? PLEASE CLICK ON IMAGE TO VIEW DETAIL. Good News

My artwork got 2nd place in the Exhibition Competition, "Politics and Media" at Schafler Gallery!!! It was led and critiqued by guest curators Eleanor Heartney, Larry Litt and "Party Headquarters" artist Kyle Goen.

Also the Prospect Park Zoo has requested that my atwork be kept on for the next show. Apparently the curator said it's the first time they've shown a piece twice, but the staff & patrons love it so it's hard not to!

I'm off to San Francisco for a week!
